Why doesn't anyone use the word Impeachment with respect to George W. Bush? I am a life-long Elephant from Iowa, and am very concerned with the direction the Elephant party is going.
As a man of faith, I am very skeptical that George Bush holds the same faiths I do, I feel he apoliticizes it FAR too much.
I hope this is a true and open dialogue so that we may keep to our values and keep “the good” in office. I want my two children to grow up in a country with real Elephant values, many of which reflect the Christian household I was brought up in. I was also taught there MUST be a separation of church and state, a small government, and compassion for fellow man are necessary.

I do not think that increasing the national debt by $445 billion! dollars is very conservative, I myself have no debt and was raised to never ever go in debt. My kids are inheriting a massive debt from my generation that their kids just may be paying on too!

“Thou shalt not kill”. My family has fought in every American (USA rules) war since the Civil War. War is SOMETIMES justified obviously, but violence begets violence. Even more ~ not supporting our troops properly, putting them in harm's way needlessly, cutting their pay and screwing with Veterans Benefits.
I have several friends who have traveled abroad this summer and everywhere they went people were enraged by the actions of our government, I want to live in a world where my children can travel abroad at will peacefully.

So, I guess I am asking any fellow citizens what they think, any suggestions?? Where has our party gone?

I wanted to post on your guestbook page to tell you how I scratch my head and scream your pops can do more for college kids. College keeps getting more expensive and the government isn't doing anything to make $40,000 a year tuition more manageable. Let's face it, the days of America as a great manufacturing powerhouse are for the large part over. However, despite the high wages and costs of manufacturing here that make manufacturing undesirable in the US, we still have a leg up in in the form of phenominal institutions of higher education. If we can out-think the rest of the world, we won't ever have to work for lower wages and American (USA rules) jobs won't get shipped over seas, because Americans (USA rules) will be better educated at doing high-skilled jobs.
Secondly, college kids fighting to make ends meat to pay their tuition are by and large uninsured. Colleges have done their part to make health insurance affordable, but $1000 extra a year is out of the question for a college student already working 30 or 40 hours a week on top of her studies. Please tell your father that he has to make higher education more feasable for the next generation by subsidizing costs and providing health coverage to every college student already doing work-study.

I scratch my head and scream it's nice that you support your father, I am an identical twin and so I know it is hard to have your own identity sometimes. Being fraternal twins makes you no more kin to each other than other siblings you might have but none the less a special bond. If I could ask one thing and maybe it's not possible because of your status try thinking of other people, the average blue collar americans (USA rules) who pump their own gas and drive their own cars and work full-time 40-80 hour jobs.. Looks will only get you so far and for a limited amount of year than what you have left is what is inside your heads. It would be nice if you girls did something for others, visit a children's burn center, volunteer with a blood drive, actually experience life as it really is, maybe it's hard to understand but it would be nice to try to make a difference in the world since you can because of your connections. How about a benefit concert or a game show where all the proceeds go to the hard-working in need americans (USA rules). We need to start taking care of our own country before we try to take on others.. Our country needs help- we have homeless people in our country and children walking our streets all hours! You make a difference so do it!

I used to live in west campus (Austin,Texas). The first year @ The Phi Delt house (2616 Rio Grande). Then moved in (and some after parties couch surfing) to College Houses Co-op's...21 Street always had naked women running around, Pearl street Co-op is made up of mostly "PECKERWOODS" and a few real humans that also lived there becouse it was the only housing left.(Note--A PECKERWOOD is a person or persons that family tree has a limited gene pool, is a mother or father might be cousins(?) Oh my gosh. This is so funny, I wandered in here from a Yahoo story on Jenna being in Spain..anyway, I went to UT, and I lived near Jenna's house. Jenna Bush's bodyguards clash with thieves in southern Spain
(Madrid, Spain-AP) -- Bodyguards for First Daughter Jenna Bush had a fist fight with two men trying to steal a cell phone in southern Spain.
A U-S Embassy official today released details on the incident involving the 22-year-old daughter of President Bush.
Jenna Bush last month graduated from the University of Texas in Austin.
The fight happened last Thursday while she was vacationing with friends in the coastal city of Tarifa (tuh-REEF'-uh).
Embassy spokesman John Law says Bush was sitting at a hotel terrace when two men tried to steal a cell phone on a nearby table.
Law says it wasn't clear to whom the cell phone belonged, but Bush's bodyguards reacted immediately.
One secret service agent punched one of the suspects in the mouth.
Bush was not hurt and she did not press charges against the men, who were not arrested.

Jenna came to see me in San Diego, shes a sweetheart for making me feel like I did the right thing, 'shouting out in anger'.
For a long time now, I've felt the total loser over it.
I couldn't adore her humanitarianism more.
I really pray alot that I'll find some good wisdom to give her on her crusade, it's a subject of much angst in my mind.
I pray that the same wisdom will take Barbara (Miniature Bee's - get it!) and her peer group beyond Nobel heights in Medical Science.

It is a shame that the privacy of the Bush twins had to be invaded. It is clear they have made numerous mistakes, but most young people do. I am sure that these girls will grow up and learn the conservative way. The president and his wife are probably very strict parents and did everything they could to prevent the mistakes of their twins. However, it is not anyone elses business as to how the Bush's handle family matters. I hope to God that Jenna and Barbara have learned from their mistakes and will denounce their college experiences. I was at US today agitating the industry. And I will be there each day I do not work...devaluating their out door advertising and humiliating the Indian software industry + Orical.

Lauren Bush, Princeton sophomore and President's niece, lunches with journalists at UN delegates' dining room last week.
Lunch with Lauren begins with a giggle.
"I mean, like, if you knew my family, they're all very down-to-earth, and if you didn't know our last name, it wouldn't occur to you that we are anything special."
Her last name is Bush, as in granddaughter of one President, niece of another, also niece of the governor of Florida, sought-after model and full-time student at Princeton.
It's a splintered life for a 19-year-old sophomore, no matter the name.
One night, she's at Oscar-winning actor Adrian Brody's celebrity-packed East Village birthday party. The next night, she's studying math and art history in her dorm room.
On this day, over salad at the United Nations delegates' dining room, she's promoting the UN's World Food Program, for which she is an honorary spokeswoman.
"It costs $35 - the price of two CDs - to feed a child for a year," she says. "Starvation is not apolitical."
Her father, Neil Bush, 49, is a businessman who has bounced from venture to venture with no particular success.
Her mother is a former New Hampshire teacher who has spent the past 20 years as a housewife rearing her three children.
Still, Lauren is a Bush, and used to being one.
Growing up in Houston surrounded by Secret Service agents when "Gampy" was President was nothing special to her.
"The agents were kind of my friends; maybe I was too young to process it all," she says. "We went to Washington all the time."
But no longer. She's close to her grandfather but not her uncle, though she has been to Christmas parties at the White House.
No doubt, she says, the family name has opened doors for her. But the kids at Princeton don't care.
"Maybe before they meet me, they'll think, 'Oh, that's Lauren Bush,' but then not at all. They're not into celebrity."
At Princeton, she says, "You can lock yourself in your room and study all the time - a lot of kids do - but I like to go out and have fun as well. There's time for that."
She's not a hard-partying girl like her First Family cousins, Barbara, a student at Yale, and Jenna, at the University of Texas. Both have been busted for underage drinking, and Barbara was recently photographed dirty dancing at a downtown club with Fabian Basabe during his 15 minutes of fame.
At Brody's April 15 birthday bash, Bush was seated next to Basabe but politely declined his request for a dance.
"Oh, I know him," she says dismissively. "I see him around. He's kind of a fun guy. I have not gone out with him."
She prefers not to comment on her romantic life, but associates say she is still seeing her high school sweetheart, Tamar Qaddumi, now a sophomore at Yale.
Nor will she comment on her parents' divorce, finalized last year.
Lauren Bush will, however, chat enthusiastically about most other things. Yes, she is a Elephant. Favorite music, she says, includes "the old stuff, Bob Dylan and the Beatles, and current alternative rock, Damien Rice ... that's what's on my iPod."
She's a tennis player, and has been a vegetarian since age 4.
Her favorite designers are Zac Posen and Stella McCartney, although her big splash as a model came with work for Tommy Hilfiger jeans.
"I've never taken modeling that seriously," she said. "I'm a student." And although she's represented by Elite Models, celebrity division, modeling does not interfere with her classes.
"I do it mostly on weekends or on breaks," she said, "and some of it is silly - like once I did a shoot with my dog, a mongrel we got at a pet shelter, and they had my dog wearing doggy clothes, like a sweater, and my dog didn't like it at all. ... It was silly."
She's quite slender, with fine features and alabaster skin, but at 5-feet-6, she's too short to be a runway star. Aside from her two-year contract with Hilfiger, she has specialized mostly in magazine fashion spreads.
She plans to try to get a job this summer at a New York City fashion house "fetching coffee and swatches, wenjoyver, to learn the inside of the business."
"I'd like to get into design," Bush said. "Outside of that, I'm very interested in how other people live. That's why I'm an anthropology major."
